The extra-tough
just got extra-tougher.

You just can’t get too much of a good thing. That’s why the technical experts at CertainTeed have taken the industry's standard for excellence in a three-tab strip shingle and made it even better.

Made using a super-tough fiber glass base
with extra asphalt, the XT 30 is an exceptionaIly durable, long lasting shingle
with 30-year limited warranty p
rotection
The XT 30 shingle is built on a super-tough fiber glass base using even more asphalt than
CertainTeed's popular XT 25 to provide
exceptional performance and durability
Its sturdy construction, including special
sealant strips, makes the XT 30 a
particularly rugged, long-lasting shingle
that carries the UL 997 wind label for wind resistance up to 60 mph. For these reasons,
the XT 30 is backed with a 30-year limited
transferable warranty, making it the
perfect choice for light commercial and
residential buildings requiring warranties
of longer duration.
Add fast, easy installation, a range
of earth-tone and accent colors, and a
price tag that's just slightly higher than
ordinary strip shingles, and it's easy to
understand why the XT 30 has more
than satisfied the requests of professional
roofing contractors.

A warranty program with
extra protection

A warranty program should reflect
the quality and innovation of the prodm
it stands behind. As such, CertainTeed
backs XT 30 with a 30-year limited transferable warranty and five years of extra protection in
the early years when the homeowner needs
it most. covers 100% of the replacement cost
on labor and shingles (excluding roof tear-off
and disposal costs) should a
manufacturing defect, however unlikely,
appear during the first five years
following installation.

A CertainTeed roof
stands above the rest

CertainTeed is widely acknowledged
as the industry leader for innovation
in product design, color, performance
and warranty programs.
Every CertainTeed asphalt shingle

for over 90 years.

The XT 30 Color Palette

Other Selections may be available in your area.

Note: Reproduction of colors on this web page is as accurate as modern color screens will permit. Colors are subject to changes by granule manufacturers. Before making a final selection, please consider the following:

1) Request full shingle samples;
2) See actual roof applications;
3) Because the appearance of a roof may vary depending upon the light exposure, consider viewing several roof applications under various kinds of light, i.e. bright sun, partial sun, full cloud, etc.;
4) Determine if the pitch of your roof will impact how a shingle color and style will look on your home. To make the best selection, view homes with your shingle color choice with roof pitches similar to your own.
