A full range of slopes (from 1/16" to 1/2" per foot) and a variety of facing materials complement this versatility.

Custom engineering is a hallmark of the NRG Tapered System. Our experienced professionals design over 2000 Tapered Systems a year – from the simplest roof configuration to the most complex. Each Tapered design is individually prepared from your original roof plans (or sketches) and submitted for review and approval before installation.

NRG's Project Management services are unique. Controlled application is critical to the success of any tapered insulation system. NRG Project Managers oversee every aspect of every project, from design and specification review, to submittals, preconstruction assistance and installation.

Quality and Economy

High insulating value per inch means lower profiles at the roof perimeter, less costly mechanical fasteners, reduced wood blocking and fascia or edge detailing.

NRG Tapered Systems save steps in installation. The combination of high R-value and convenient sizes (up to 4" thick per layer) requires fewer layers of insulation. As a result contractor productivity can increase markedly.

NRG Tapered Systems reduce heating and cooling costs, prolong the life of the roofing membrane by pre-venting ponded water, and generally cost less, based on an installed cost per R-value.
